Natural Remedies for Chronic Prostatitis

As I stated in the previous articles, most physicians treat prostatitis with a liberal dose of antibiotics with the hope that antibiotics would cure all.  Unfortunately, chronic prostastitis does not usually respond to potent antibiotics.  Even if it did temporarily, the stubborn infections are recurrent.

The best treatment for chronic prostatitis is to uproot the cause.  Here are some natural remedies that have proven to be helpful to my clients:

1)    Yeast-free nutrition:  This is a nutritional program that contains no sugar, dairy, wheat, yeasts, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, nor chemicals.  This program is meant to prevent yeasts and parasites in your body to be well-fed with their favorite food.  Even though this may be a tall order for people who are used to Standard American Diet (SAD) , do the best you can to get as many benefits as possible.  If you want to know what to eat and what to avoid, follow the recipes in my yeast-free cookbook Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.  Once you are familiar with the principles, you can easily create your own recipes.

2)    Boost your immunity: Remove the toxins in your body, so that your body’s innate intelligence can heal you.  Our Herbal Detox program (consisting of Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) is excellent for this purpose.  For one year of illness, one should detox at least one month to reactivate your immune system.  Meanwhile, you may add Male Vitality to boost energy, productivity, mental clarity, and immunity.

3)    Stabilize your male identity: It does not matter what your sexual orientation is, as long as you make contributions to society, you are to be cherished.  Nowadays women and men are meant to be equal.  There is no need to fixate on certain gender identity issues.

4)    Stress Management: Stress, if managed properly, can be a motivating factor for us to move forward.  There are various self-administered methods that can reduce your stress level substantially, i.e.: meditation, prayers, emotional releasing techniques, tapping, etc.  In my book: Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and unconditional Love for Magic Healing, you will learn skills to manage your stress effectively.

5)    Pain Management: If you experience pain, either due to prostate inflammation or injury, you might want to use some non-addictive pain killers to get pain relief while you are on the healing path.  Aspirin or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, or others) have been reported by my clients as being effective for providing some temporary comfort.

You can also soak in a warm bath (sitz bath), to relax your muscles around the prostate area.  Avoid bicycling or wearing tight jeans so that you will not put pressure on your prostate.

If you read all three articles pertaining to prostatitis so far, you know that a holistic approach to a yeast-free living is the best way to treat or prevent recurrent prostate infections.
